AugmaCure 375 mg
Each tablet contains:
Amoxicillin 250 mg (as amoxicillin trihydrate) and clavulanic acid 125 mg (as potassium clavulanate).
AugmaCure 625 mg
Each tablet contains:
Amoxicillin 500 mg (as amoxicillin trihydrate) and clavulanic acid 125 mg (as potassium clavulanate).
AugmaCure 1 g
Each tablet contains:
Amoxicillin 800 mg (as amoxicillin trihydrate) and clavulanic acid 200 mg (as potassium clavulanate).
Mechanism of action:
Amoxicillin is a beta-lactam derivatives, has a bactericidal effect by inhibiting the synthesis of the cell wall.
clavulanic acid is a beta-lactam derivatives, has an inhibitory effect of the beta-lactamase enzyme.
Indications:
Upper Respiratory Tract Infections e.g. recurrent tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media.
Lower Respiratory Tract Infections e.g. acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, lobar and bronchopneumonia.
Urinary Tract Infections e.g. cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis.
Skin and Soft Tissue Infections e.g. cellulitis, animal bites.
Dental infections e.g. severe dental abscess with spreading cellulitis.
