Each film coated tablet contains:
Olanzapine USP 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 20mg.
Mechanism of action:
Olanzapine antipsychotic activity is likely due to a combination of antagonism at D2 receptors in the mesolimbic pathway and 5HT2A receptors in the frontal cortex.
Indications:
treatment of schizophrenia.
treatment of moderate to severe manic episode.
prevention of recurrence in patients with bipolar disorder.
