Each ML Contains:
Gentamicin Sulfate Equivalent to 40mg Gentamicin.
Mechanism of action:
Gentamicin, an aminoglycoside bactericidal, binds to the prokaryotic ribosome30S subunit, inhibiting protein synthesis in susceptible bacteria.
Indications:
central nervous system (meningitis).
urinary tract, respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract (including peritonitis), skin, bone and soft tissue (including burns).
combination with carbenicillin for the treatment of life-threatening infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
serious staphylococcal infections.
